Go further, no further, to the edge...
My friend Dan Fredinberg. The legend.
Dan wasn't afraid. If he was he did a damn good job of enjoying that fear. Dan seeked out information people and adventure. His mind came up with ideas most would never come close to considering.
I remember last year when he was telling me the story about how the ice fall happened only an hour or so after they had hiked through it and how close he came with death. He told me about the heros who saved people and pulled bodies off the mountains. He explained what the devastation was like for the culture in Nepal as well as the climbing group he was with.
He was on a mission to fulfill a huge goal, and he loved every step of the way. Somehow he also managed to get Google to fun his trips and would creatively tie in amazing ideas to tie together to make it work.
